We understand the challenges of our Veterans. Giving access to food and healthy meals is a service we can provide to eliminate one of these challenges. Each hamper provides one month's worth of groceries and necessities. Fresh produce, meat and dairy product needs are met through grocery store gift cards included in each hamper. Whether you need continuous support or just a helping hand through a rough patch, we are here for you.

Many Veterans have indicated that Remembrance Day resonates with them as an event for the public to show their respects. Remembrance Day can be a difficult reminder to some. To respect our Veterans, we choose to say "Thank You" by offering a Veterans Dinner separate from any Remembrance Ceremonies. Quilt of Valour™ presentations, provided by Quilts of Valour Canada, is a hug from a grateful nation and a tribute to an injured Canadian Armed Forces member, past or present.

Soup Thursdays

Soup Thursdays

Since the early stages of the organization, Soup Thursdays offered the Veterans Association Members opportunity to meet and make their vision of a Veteran-run food bank a reality. The tradition of weekly hot meals continues today. For some, this is the only access to home cooked meals or social interaction. If you are a Veteran looking for a hot meal and to find camaraderie and community, we invite you to join us on Thursdays.
